Dalton`s Restaurant in Cypress

Best coffee I've ever had in a restaurant. Bold, but smooth. Eggs were great, so was the ham steak. Place was busy, but the customer service was fast and friendly. Great family place. Biscuit was not great, but that's my only complaint. You will get plenty to eat.

I've lived in the area for about 5 years, and I'm disappointed it took me so long to find Dalton's. We came here for breakfast, so this review is not for lunch or dinner. I had the the Louisiana sausage with eggs and pancakes, my wife had eggs with biscuits and gravy. None of the food was greasy, everything was delicious and service was nice. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu and maybe lunch or dinner. The free cookies were delicious, and the dessert display was very nice, so I'm going to leave some room for pie next time too.

Best place to slip in, have a meal, enjoy yourself, think through your day, plan for tomorrow; is just one of those kind of diners. Best features that you never have to look around for someone to refill your beverage. That's one of those annoying parts of going out to eat - you're out of water, coffee cup is empty, you just need more iced tea. Daltons servers actually help us have a nice meal! Kitchen must be very busy as they have a full menu and always several daily specials. Homemade pies, regular and sugar-free. Thank you, Dalton's for taking care of Cypress!!!

I love Eggs Benedict and I used to think the ones I had in the Savoy Hotel in London were the best until I went to Dalton's on Sunday evening January 19th and Pedro made some for me that were definitely far better than the Savoy's !! I couldn't beleive it, they were Amazing, Perfectly cooked, Exactly the way I wanted them. Perfect in Every way.I couldn't go back to the Savoy again. It will be Pedro at Dalton's from now on every time I come " across the pond ".I'm here in California for a few more months so I'll be going back ( a lot ). I hope they won't get tired of me and Ban me !I would Highly recommend Pedro 's -- & his Eggs Benedict -- at Dalton's to Everyone. Thanks Pedro, the 12 hour flight was worth it.Katy Jarvis. .

This is a nice, local, family orientated diner. Nice atmosphere, lovely food. The prices are reasonable (10$/plate) and daily specials too. Fast and friendly service, and out of 100+ times being here, only once did they mess up my order. They fixed it promptly, 5/5.

Casual coffee shop, friendly staff I go here for lunch when I need to relax when stressed from work. The soups are homemade and they have a variety menu l enjoy this place

I ordered the Colorado omelette and the meat was dry and cold. My wife ordered stuffed french toast it was basically smuckers in a french toast sandwich. Then the waitress question my daughter when she ordered a kids meal.

This is my favorite coffee shop. Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly staff.

Great good old American style service and food

Pretty good place. Love the atmosphere, especially the Christmas decor that gives it a little bit of Christmas village vibes. I ordered a meatloaf, it was above average but nothing exceptional. But I would come back to try the other food that they have. The staff is super nice here too

My Brother and I went yesterday. He has been there before and I have not. It was really great, everything about it. My Brother had prime rib and my fish was fantastic. Dinner included plenty of sides to order from and included soup or salad. The service was great and the food was great. We will be returning.

Cute, homey and yummy. The staff, especially Sylvia and Justin, were exemplary. It was a first time so I won't say "love" yet, but it was a solid 4.5!

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are delicious and the team is efficient and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we pass a lovely time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

We wanted to try it because Dalton is our last name. 🤣 The prices are a little steep but the service and food was amazing. The portions were good. We took cookies & milk to go. Try it, you won’t regret it.

Great food. Excellent service. I love that they have so many choices for sugar free desserts. My grandparents are diabetic and it's difficult to find a restaurant that's close by with a variety.

Great place to eat. Good food & specials. Everyone friendly & super nice servers. I ordered beef stew special & husband ordered breakfast. Large variety of home baked pies & pastries, big cookies. Nice selection of sugar free pies & tastes great. Breakfast steak on every other Friday special.

This place is a gem. Cute atmosphere, delicious food, and great customer service. So excited that my mom found this amazing place since we just moved to cypress.

We decided to try this place out because we have passed by it several times. Such a cute place and all decorated up for St Patrick's Day. A warm, cozy place with good service and good food. The portions were pretty good size. I ordered spaghetti and my husband ordered chili size, I think it was called. We both enjoyed it and will go back again.

1st time there. Was highly recommended by friend. Rude waitress and toast was burnt. I will never return there and would highly recommend anyone NOT to eat there

True home cooking and the desserts are incredible. We always take home some blueberry muffins made with fresh blueberries. Best meatloaf wrapped in bacon. The menu goes on and on.

This place was so good we almost didn't go because we didn't see it on the way back up Katella Ave. But man it was well worth the u-ey lol. I ordered the Hash n eggs with a homemade muffin my daughter ordered the bacon and eggs with pancakes and he ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy and the food was excellent service was excellent .

We stopped for a late lunch. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't crowded. Our coices for lunch were yummy.😀 He had an open faced new York steak sandwich with s pickle and I ordered a chicken salad stuffed avocado, Sooooo good. I'm glad I ordered a half size, it still took me two sittings to finish it. We also tried the Navy Bean soup, also good. With iced tea to top off our lunch.

The food was real homestyle cooking. Great service, friendly server, cozy atmosphere. An older gentleman even came to our table and asked how we were doing. Not sure if he was the owner or manager but he told us that if the air became too cold he would redirect it away from us since the ac was blowing towards our way. I appreciated his thoughful suggestion. I live in San Gabriel and this place is in the OC, so Im not sure when I'll be back again, but when i do, this will be my first choice. I will also recommend it to family and friends, especially whe they come out to visit the attractions like Knotts or Disney. Very affordable and serving size is generous.

Their prices are very high.The waitress serving us either didn't speak good English or her mind is confused. I just want to make sure I had gravy on my country fried steak instead she gave me extra toasted bread with gravy on it. Hello?

Been here many times over the last year. Cheri is the best waitress here. The food is good but a little over priced. The atmosphere is a bit stale, but it's quiet and clean. Honestly I do recommend at least trying this diner. They have amazing muffins and every customer gets a free large cookie on their first visit.

Great portions. Yummy bread. Easy parking. Decent prices. Will be back.
